How to Complete the Quran in Ramadan (A Realistic Guide)

How to Complete the Quran in Ramadan (A Realistic Guide)

Completing the Quran in Ramadan is one of the most rewarding things you can do this month. The good news? It's more achievable than you think. Here's exactly how to do it.

The Quran has 30 juz. Ramadan has 30 days. That means one juz per day. One juz is roughly 20 pages, which most people can read in 30 to 45 minutes. Break that into two sessions and it becomes very manageable.

Step 1: Anchor It to Your Salah

The easiest way to stay consistent is to attach your Quran time to prayer. Read half a juz after Fajr and half after Taraweeh or Isha. You already have the routine, you're just adding to it. Or you can divide up the pages by each Salah. 5 prayers, open the quran 5 times.Β

Step 2: Use the 20-Page Rule

Don't think about completing the whole Quran. Just focus on your 20 pages today. That's it. One day at a time.

Step 3: Keep the Quran Visible

Out of sight is out of mind. Keep your Quran on your prayer mat, your bedside table, or somewhere you'll see it constantly. The more visible it is, the more likely you are to pick it up.

This is also why our customers love the Salam Store Quran Magnets. Having a verse on your fridge means you're engaging with the Quran even between sessions, keeping your heart connected throughout the day.

Step 4: Deepen Your Connection With Tracing

If you want to go beyond just reading and truly absorb the words, try incorporating our Quran Tracing Book into your daily routine. Tracing the Arabic letters is a powerful way to slow down, focus, and build a deeper bond with each ayah. Even just a few pages a day can transform how you experience the Quran this Ramadan. It's also perfect for kids who are on their own Quran journey alongside you.

Step 5: Track Your Progress

Use a simple tracker or journal to tick off each juz as you complete it. Seeing your progress builds momentum and makes you less likely to fall behind.

Step 6: Don't Panic If You Miss a Day

Life happens. If you fall behind, don't give up. Double up the next day or read a little extra after each prayer to catch up. The goal is completion, not perfection.

Make This Your Most Connected Ramadan Yet

Completing the Quran is not just about finishing. It's about building a relationship with the words of Allah that carries beyond Ramadan. Start today, stay consistent, and trust the process.
